The Last Supper
Matthew 26:17-29
Mark 14:12-24
Luke 22:10-20
It came to the day of the Passover and Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Enter the city and you will find a man carrying a jar. Follow him to the house which he enter say to the owner, ‘The teacher wants to eat the Passover at your house.’ After that, he will show you a large furnished upper room. Prepare the Passover there.”
They left and found everything as Jesus said they make preparations for the Passover there.
While Jesus was eating the Passover with his disciples, he said, “This will be the last Passover with you before I suffer. I will not eat it again until the kingdom of the God find fulfillment.”
Jesus took bread, and after He thanked God for it, he broke it and said, “This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.”
Likewise, after the supper, Jesus took the cup, and when He had thanked God for it, he gave it to his disciples and said, “This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.”
