Paul Rescued by His Nephew

Acts 23:16-22

When Paul’s nephew overheard their conspiracy, he went into the barrack and told Paul about it.

Paul quickly asked one of the centurions to take him to the commander.

The young man was brought to the commander. The commander took him by the hand and asked him, “What is it you want to tell me?”

He said, “The Jews have taken an oath not to eat and drink until they kill Paul. They had asked the chief priest and the Sandherin to ask you to bring Paul before them with an excuse of wanting more information. Don’t give in to them. They are waiting in ambush to kill him while he is on his way there.”

The commander bade the young man to leave after warning him not to tell anyone that he reported this to him.
