Jesus is Born in a Stable

Luke 2:1-4

During those days, Emperor Caesar Augustus issued a census in the whole Roman Empire that everyone should return to his hometown to register.

Joseph was from the line of King David so he went up to the town of Bethlehem with his wife, Mary to get registered.

All the inns were full so Joseph and Mary decided to spend the night at the stable nearby. While they were there, Mary gave birth to Jesus. She wrapped him in swaddling cloths and put him in a manger.
