Jesus Heals Ten Lepers
Luke 17:11-17
As Jesus was entering a village, he met ten men who were covered with leprosy.
From a distance, the ten men called out to Jesus, “Lord Jesus, have mercy on us and heal our leprosy.”
When Jesus saw them, he had compassion on them and he healed them.
He said to them, “Go to the temple and show yourselves to the priests.”
Out of the ten lepers that Jesus healed, only one leper came to Jesus. The leper who was a Samaritan came to Jesus and bowed down before him and thanked Him.
Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten lepers? Why is it that only one leper came back to praise God and he is a foreigner?”
After that, he said to him, “Get up and go. Your faith has saved you.”
